“I am so grateful for the love, care and hard work you to devote to my son and all his friends in the residential service where he lives. It is clear that their wellbeing is at the heart of all you do, and that the residents are very happy to be part of the family you have created.” Parent feedback, March 2017

About Us

At Active Prospects we always have at our heart the key questions of ‘why are we here’ and ‘what is our purpose’.  We are here to enable people to lead aspiring lives.

Each action, new development and approach is focused on supporting this central purpose.

Active Prospects is passionate about people progressing towards independence – we provide high-quality supported living, residential and community services, activities and employment enabling, for people with learning disabilities and autism, physical and mental health needs across Surrey, South London and Sussex.

We are ambitious for our people, staff and organisation to be the best we can, and so proud of the energy, commitment and achievements that are made every day.

People we support have choice, freedom and control over their lives, and achieve aspiring things. Every day we see the progression people make with no limits to their potential.

We are co-produced by our award winning Pro-Active Committee of the people we support, who have a voice in everything we do. They have created a strong peer support network that raises people’s confidence, self-value and belief in what they can achieve, sharing resources and experiences, also contributing greatly back to our communities though social action and partnerships.

We are increasingly becoming known as a responsive and leading provider of health and social care services, and in particular for our positive impact with individuals being referred under the Transforming Care programme which is receiving wide recognition.

We are currently developing 27 new homes this year under Transforming Care and recycled capital grants with support from NHS England, Surrey County Council and local Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCGs), helping people leave hospital and return to their community. We are also developing 14 new homes from our own funds and in partnership with private landlords.

Our 300 staff are the people that each and every day enable truly remarkable things to happen, and they have our absolute highest regard. Support work can sometimes be difficult and challenging but it is also the greatest job in the world through enabling people to flourish.

Our Commissioners greatly value Active Prospects delivering high quality person-centred solutions, working jointly to create services which meet local needs.

We continue to grow and increase our impact as we develop more services and new approaches to meet local needs, and we thank you for your support on the journey that we make together.
