Conformance status

The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) defines requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. It defines three levels of conformance: Level A, Level AA, and Level AAA. Active Prospects is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 level AA.

Partially conformant means that some parts of the content do not fully conform to the accessibility standard. On this website, the newsletter sign up on the homepage of the site currently does not meet level AA (3.3. Input Assistance). This form currently does not recognise user error with the input fields of name and email. We will continue to work to improve this. If you have any feedback on this element of the site, or suggestions for how it could be improved, please contact us on info@activeprospects.org.uk.
