Pro-Active Community Shortlisted as Finalists for the Leaders’ List

The Pro-Active Community has been shortlisted as finalists for the Learning Disability and Autism Leaders’ List 2019.

Launched in 2018, the Leaders’ List is the UK’s first national list celebrating achievements of people with learning disabilities and/or autism.

As part of the nomination, Lizzie Wheeler, Co-Chair of the Pro-Active Community, went in front of the camera to discuss the impact of the Pro-Active Community and what winning the Leaders’ List will mean to the group. Lizzie did an outstanding job and said “I really enjoyed filming for this nomination. Sometimes it is fun to be in the limelight.”

Take a look at our nomination video below.

A massive thank you to the judging team at Dimensions for considering the Pro-Active nomination.
