Peters points of view

Peter kindly shares his experience of working within Active Prospects to build on his experience and skills for the future.  As well as making excellent progress he has some smart advice and exciting news to share:

Hi my name is Peter Martin and I’m working with Active Prospects to become independent and gain employment in the future, I go to Re-Work-It boutique clothes shop for 2 days a week, I help sort out clothes and prices, in the morning I open the shop and set up the till. Then the other 3 days I’m at the office working through the program and learning things like wellbeing and code of conduct.

It’s the last day of term today so we thought we’d start working on the strategic plan.  Nick and Jen have asked me to help.  Make sure you get your strategic plan done!

Exciting news at head office …

This year Active Prospects launched a training programme for young people with learning disabilities.  Head office have been busy installing a classroom on the ground floor.  Great news … the partition will be finished next week, and the hub will be ready to be used next year!

Active Prospects have recruited two new receptionists who will start at head office in January.  Both have learning disabilities, and both are supported by Active Prospects.  If you call head office in the new year, please welcome them to the organisation!
