Active Prospects launches Future Leaders Programme

Active Prospects is proud to announce the launch of our Future Leaders Programme, led by John Pearce, an external consultant and expert in the care sector.

We are committed to providing the best care for the people we support and in doing so, facilitate and invest in learning opportunities for our staff, allowing them to continuously progress. As an organisation, we are on a journey to outstanding, and the programme’s aim is to take the talent and passion of our people and provide them with the skills to grow and develop.

John Pearce said “great organisations should always look inside at their current staff first, before looking outside to recruit. There’s often star quality somewhere and with the right training and encouragement, they will grow to become inspiring leaders. A programme like this, not only retains people, but it allows those with so much knowledge and experience to be their very best.”

The 6-day intensive programme will focus on core areas of leadership and management, including topics such as self-assessment, communication and understanding team dynamics.

The internal course will run across 6 days, from May to June 2019. Anna Thornley, Director of People at Active Prospects, said “we are really excited about the launch of our Future Leaders Programme which underpins our belief in providing development pathways for colleagues across the organisation.”
