Woodview is a friendly, warm and homely residential service for up to 9 adults.
What support is available
The service prioritises person-centred care for people with profound multiple learning disabilities and high support needs. The staff team support everyone at Woodview to have a full and meaningful life with a range of planned activities in house and through accessing local shops, leisure centres and additional services. Communication is key to quality of life at Woodview, and staff are trained to provide Intensive Interaction, and use a range of assistive technologies to support people to make choices about their lives and the support they receive.
Facilities
Woodview is a specially designed building for individuals with physical disabilities and has a fully accessible kitchen, bathrooms and large spacious bedrooms and communal areas, including two gardens and a courtyard for everyone to enjoy sports, gardening and barbeques. There is a sensory room, which provides huge benefits for those with sensory needs.
Local area
Woodview is very much part of the local community in Caterham, taking part in neighbourhood events. In addition residents enjoy regular social opportunities with the wider organisation, meeting up for day trips, pub visits, quizzes and sharing time together.
