Temple Road – Supported Living

Overview

Temple Road provides supported living accommodation via self-contained flats.

What support is available

This flat is prioritised for applicants who may be at risk of hospital admission or who are already in hospital; however all applicants will be considered. Applicants need to have funding for a minimum of 20 hours of 1:1 support per week. There is no shared care available at this service, and people will need to be supported by their own package of support. Telecare can be fitted to link to out-of-hours support, and roaming waking night cover.

Facilities

Temple Road is a lovely detached house, which has been converted to provide two separate flats: a 2 bedroom ground floor flat, and a first floor flat. The property has a shared driveway, ample parking, a well-kept garden and very friendly neighbours, and is set in an established residential area. Flats contain a sitting room, kitchen, bedroom and a wet room, all recently refurbished to a high standard.

Local area

Nearby there is a wide range of independent and high street retailers, cafés, restaurants and pubs, hairdressers, a library, local GP surgery, leisure centre, cinema and theatre. Excellent transport links exist with both the train station and regular buses within 10 minutes walk. Epsom is a market town located between Ashtead and Ewell. The town straddles chalk downland (Epsom Downs). Epsom Downs Racecourse holds The Derby, and the town also gives its name to Epsom salts, which is extracted from mineral waters there.
