Copthorne Road in Leatherhead offers a supported living service, providing 24/7 support to young adults with a learning disability, autism spectrum disorder and/or mental health needs.
What support is available
The staffing allows for shared support and dedicated 1:1 hours to enable people to build their independence and confidence in a comfortable and nurturing environment. The staff are trained to use a Positive Behaviour Support framework including Active Support, Inclusive Communication and utilise a wellbeing model to help people identify, set and achieve their own personal outcomes.
Facilities
Two adjoined properties offer a creative, fun and lively home. Leatherhead provides space for 6 people, comprising of 2 one bedded flats, 1 studio flat and 3 rooms with en-suite. Additional features include a shared communal lounge and kitchen, and a large garden perfect for sport, barbecues and those that are green fingered!
Local area
Leatherhead has plenty of shops, leisure and community centre, restaurants and cafes. The service is a ten minute walk from the railway station, which offers easy access to Guildford and into London.
