Cheyne Walk contains 2 separate properties, supporting 2 individuals with autism and sensory needs.
What support is available
Support is flexible, and will be provided to meet the needs of each individual. Each person has their own outcome focused support plan, and personalised active support plan. These are regularly reviewed and adapted to meet the changing needs of the individual as required. Each person has a key worker, and will be introduced to a small team who work closely together to provide a consistent, and high quality service.
Support is very flexible and focused to their support plan, currently providing 2:1 support during the day and 1 night staff present. The majority of the activities are locally based; shopping, cinema, gym and exploring attractions around the area and further afield. Residents are supported to become independent, for example by helping with chores in the house including changing bedding, cooking meals.
Facilities
Each individual has their own bedroom, kitchen, lounge and bathroom. There is an office and well-kept gardens on both sides of the service for people to use.
Local area
The property is within 5 minutes walk of Horley Town Centre where there are a number of shops, with excellent transport links, including a railway station and a range of buses, and Gatwick airport, London, Brighton, and the nearby towns of Reigate, Redhill and Crawley are easily accessible. There is a local leisure centre, college and other facilities.
