Pro-Active Committee short-listed for third award

Our brilliant co-production group of people we support – the Pro-Active Committee – have done it again! They have been selected as a Finalist in the Great British Care Awards – South East region for the ‘Putting People First’ Award.

The Award recognises a team who have embraced the ‘Putting People First’/Personalisation agenda and can demonstrate an innovative approach to empowering people to have more control over the support they need in their lives.

Members of the group will be travelling to Brighton with Director of Care, Jade Vallance, for the judging day and for the Awards Ceremony itself, which is being held at the AMEX Stadium in Brighton, on 3rd November!

The Committee have already scooped two awards in the last year: a Surrey Care Award for the Most Innovative Activities Programme Involving Service Users, and the National Learning Disability and Autism (NLDA) People’s Award.

We’re sending them all the luck in the world for the Great British Care Awards – go team!
