Our Star Award winner is…

In the early Autumn, we celebrated our Star Awards evening safely from everyone’s homes via Zoom. The celebratory internal event is a date always looked forward to as we toast those who have achieved great things and celebrate our staff and people we support.

Even though the last few months have been extremely difficult, we’ve still had many moments to be proud of, so we took the opportunity to all get dressed up and make the most of the evening. Our teams have worked together non-stop to keep vulnerable people safe and the people we support have continued to inspire us, so we rolled out a whole load of awards to enjoy a special night to remember.

Well done to all our winners and meet John, from one of our services in Redhill…

Since joining Active Prospects, John has made a huge impression on his team and they describe him as their ‘rock’. During the first lockdown, John would pick up and take home members of his team to get them into work safely and so that they avoided public transport to minimise the risk of contamination for the vulnerable people we support. He even did this on his days off! His manager said “I appreciate everything he has done – he has embraced Active Prospects’ values and I find him inspiring!”

He has been one of our superstar support workers during the pandemic and won a Star Award for his dedication.
