Woodview, Caterham

Woodview is one of our three specialist buildings designed to accommodate the needs of people with physical disabilities as well as learning disabilities.  Here we offer a specialist service with accommodation for up to nine people, including those with profound learning disabilities.  We also support people who also have mental health needs (dual diagnosis), autistic spectrum conditions, dementia, and epilepsy.

We also provide end of life care, and focus on providing people with the support they need to live the life they want for as long as possible; and work with other professionals to ensure they have all they require to die with dignity in a genuinely caring environment.

At Woodview we offer comfortable rooms, a newly refurbished kitchen, spacious lounge and dining room, our own vehicle to enable people to easily access the wider community with support, as well as a courtyard and two well-maintained gardens.  We are well situated close to the local shops and amenities of Caterham, and this service is ideally suited to someone in need of high levels of support.  All staff are trained in intensive interaction and person centred active support.  Staff are on site 24 hours a day, including sleep-in and waking night.

We treat every person as a unique and valued individual, and provide the services they want and need; encourage and support a life that is full of opportunity; and involve people as valued citizens in the community of their choice.
