Active Prospects, Surrey’s Care Provider of the Year, will open a new fashion boutique on Reigate High Street this coming September. The boutique, named Re.Work.It, will recycle fashion to enable local people with disabilities to gain work.
Re.Work.It will bring something different to Reigate High Street, offering a dress agency to benefit everyone. The boutique will stock stylish high-end to mid-range fashion for women, men and children, through donations.
The boutique draws inspiration from the local people, who will have an interest in fashion and giving back. We understand that there is a need to be more environmentally friendly and to recycle what we can, including clothing, and the boutique will offer an opportunity to do this.
In the lead up to the exciting store opening, we are looking for people to donate their pre-loved fashion, from designer to high-end high street. To encourage support and donations we will offer three options: 50:50 share on the agreed sale price, receive a voucher for in-store use or simply donate fashion items.
Sarah Parsons, Shop Manager, said “we are already getting a lot of interest and people are starting to follow our social media channels, which is exciting as we approach the opening. The boutique will bring something completely new to the high street, not only offering fashion that doesn’t cost the earth, but also providing people we support with a purpose to gain life and work skills.”
Active Prospects provides residential and supported living services across Surrey for adults with learning disabilities, physical and mental health needs. With the launch of Re.Work.It, Active Prospects will continue to empower local people with learning disabilities to live aspiring lives.
