Active Prospects CEO Maria Mills wins national leadership award

Maria Mills, Chief Executive of Active Prospects, has been named as Leader of the Year at the prestigious 2022 NatWest SE100 Social Business Awards.

Active Prospects has also been named as one of the Top 100 Social Enterprises in the UK for the third year running.

The SE100 Index and Social Business Awards are run by NatWest & Pioneers Post every year. This is to name, celebrate and learn from the UK’s 100 most impressive social enterprises.

Judge Devi Clark, managing director at Impact Hub Kings Cross, said: “Maria has led an impressive turnaround at Active Prospects through one of the most challenging periods for the care sector, all while inspiring her team to grow services, quality and turnover and creating a great working environment.”

Maria said: “I would like to say a huge thanks to the team at Active Prospects, the people we support, and our partners – this award is really for you! For me, leadership is all about being very clear about what your purpose is, and then surrounding yourself with brilliant, inspiring people.”
