The Care Quality Commission recently inspected Active Prospects’ Millview service and we are proud to share our most recent CQC report.
Under CQC’s programme of inspections, all adult social care services are being given a rating according to whether they are safe, effective, caring, responsive and well-led. Millview has been rated good in safe, effective, caring and responsive and has been marked as outstanding in well-led, following an inspection in February. The inspectors said “people at Millview experienced excellent care and support which enabled them to live safe and fulfilled lives. They were treated with dignity and respect and supported by staff who had their best interests and wellbeing at heart.”
The report celebrates the dedicated and focused attitudes of the Millview team, demonstrating how important their work is to the people we support.
The report summarises how well-led the service is. An inspector said “the registered manager’s passion and enthusiasm for providing high quality care was embedded in the culture of the service and staff were constantly driven towards improvement and excellence. The staff talked about their training and learning and there was a willingness to continually update themselves with best practice.”
Bibi Jaufaraully, Service Manager at Millview, said “on the day of the inspection, the team were transparent and every member was exceptional and supportive – they should feel very proud of themselves. This was my first inspection as a registered manager and to achieve ‘outstanding’ for well-led is such an achievement. The service has transformed in 6 months under my management and the most impressive feedback to receive is that ‘we are like a family’ – I have the best team ever. It is great to get good leadership in place and the service to be recognised.”
All of Active Prospects’ services, across all areas of inspection, are rated as ‘good’ or ‘outstanding’.
