A Noisy Day at the Museum

Museum

Alan and Robin from Supported Living went to Gatwick Aviation Museum (GAM) with their Support Worker, Dee, on Saturday 4 March to see (and hear!) the LIGHTNING F53 53-671 engine run that had been planned as a special event. Alan said “It was really good, but it was also really noisy so we had to put earplugs in our ears! We had a beefburger and cup of tea while we were there, and took lots of pictures as we walked around all of the planes. We had a great time!”

This was the first time that the Lightning’s engines had been run and a second event is already planned for Saturday 6th May 2017. You can find out more on the GAM website.
