We are proud to be partnering with Surrey County Council to support residents in Horley’s brand-new supported independent living accommodation. Due to be completed later this year, this purpose-built development will enable people with learning disabilities and autistic people to live independently, with tailored support when needed.
Located in the heart of Horley, the accommodation will provide homes for 16 people, featuring six self-contained one-bedroom flats and two townhouses, each with five ensuite bedrooms, shared lounges, and kitchens. Designed to encourage independence, confidence, and community involvement, our team at Active Prospects will work closely with each resident to help them build essential life skills and lead fulfilling lives.
Following a rigorous selection process, we are delighted to have been chosen as the registered care provider for this initiative. With construction nearing completion, we look forward to welcoming the first residents in autumn.
Horley is the first of three new supported independent living developments in Surrey, with further locations planned in Byfleet and Cobham. These homes align with Surrey County Council’s Right Homes, Right Support strategy, which aims to provide high-quality, specialist accommodation within local communities.
