Active Prospects launches ambitious Strategic Plan for 2024-2027

Active Prospect proudly announces the launch of its Strategic Plan for 2024-2027. With a bold vision to achieve regional and national impact in health and wellbeing equity, the organisation sets forth a comprehensive roadmap designed to empower people to lead aspiring lives.

Under the theme “Resilient, Determined, & Louder,” Active Prospects aims to expand its high-quality support services across South East England, further establishing itself as a leading provider for individuals often facing the most complex challenges. Over the past years, Active Prospects has significantly grown, increasing its turnover from £6.9 million in 2016 to a projected £19 million by March 2025, while doubling the number of individuals it supports.

The Strategic Plan highlights key areas of focus, including a louder voice for individuals in shaping their health and wellbeing, sector-leading employee engagement, and innovative approaches to care. It emphasises the importance of living out the organisation’s core values – aspiring, caring, trusting, inclusive, vocal, and ethical – in every aspect of its work.

Maria Mills, Active Prospects’ CEO, reflected on the organisation’s growth, stating, “Our mission has always been to enable people to lead aspiring lives. This plan is a testament to our commitment to that mission and our belief in the power of great care to transform lives.”

The plan outlines ambitious objectives, such as launching new services in Brighton and Sussex, developing a comprehensive care and support model, and continuing to establish Active Prospects as an employer of choice in the sector. Additionally, it focuses on sustainability and equity, aiming to utilise digital systems to enhance service delivery and foster a culture of belonging, diversity, equity, and inclusion.

As Active Prospects moves forward, it will continue to innovate, collaborate, and advocate for those it supports, driven by a shared vision of enabling people to achieve their fullest potential.
