At the Great British Care Awards National Final in Birmingham, our Director of Care Jade Vallance, won the national Social Care Covid Hero Award. This is in addition to the award she won last year for her leadership during Covid, from the National LD & Autism Awards.
The judging panel acknowledged “Jade is a phenomenal individual who really held her team and service users ahead of herself to protect them. A truly inspiring woman who is an outstanding example of accountability and leadership. She truly leads from the frontline.”
The Great British Care Awards are a series of regional events throughout the UK and are a celebration of excellence across the care sector. The purpose of the awards is to pay tribute to those individuals who have demonstrated outstanding excellence within their field of work.
When asked about winning the award, Jade replied “I’m beyond privileged to have won the Covid hero award, however this award really belongs to everyone at Active Prospects who have worked and continue to work through Covid. Their commitment and care to the people we support is incredible and inspiring.”
