Another Win for Jade !

Congratulations to our Director of Care, Jade Vallance, for winning the Wellbeing at Work award at the Women Achieving Greatness in Social Care Awards ceremony. The awards are run by Care Talk magazine and recognise the achievements of women leaders in social care.

Jade was recognised for her leadership during the pandemic, and the support and guidance she has shown for our care and support teams. She was joined at the awards by our Head of Learning and Organisational Development, Vicky Marshall, who was shortlisted in the Talent Development category.

It has been quite a year for Jade – earlier this month she was awarded the Social Care Covid Hero award at the South East region Great British Care Awards. This followed her achievement in the spring when she won an award at the National Learning Disability & Autism Awards for her leadership during the Covid pandemic.

Jade attended a reception at the House of Lords this week, hosted by Lord Palmer, to recognise inspirational care and support staff who have gone above and beyond during the Covid-19 pandemic, demonstrating incredible acts of resilience.

Jade thoroughly deserves this recognition for the leadership, dedication and resilience she has shown over the last three years. Well done Jade!

Active Prospects also received a Highly commended in the Inclusive Culture Category at the ENEI Inclusivity Awards this week. These awards showcase and share achievements in promoting and progressing workplace diversity, equality, inclusion, and belonging.
