100% Good – it’s official!

Active Prospects is delighted to announce that 100% of its regulated services are now rated as ‘GOOD’ by the Care Quality Commission (CQC).

This is a great achievement and testament to the dedication and high quality care and support provided by staff from across the organisation. The ‘100% Good’ status comes following the CQC’s most recent inspection at Active Prospects’ residential service, Wolverton Gardens, in Horley.

Inspectors said: “People were treated with dignity and respect…we observed this approach on countless times during the inspection. Members of staff were observed to positively encourage people to fill their days with activities and tasks. The service had a culture that was friendly and caring. A care professional described the service as “very welcoming, accommodating and organised”.”

CEO Maria Mills said: “This a real achievement as very few providers have this track record. Recent inspection reports really identify that all staff are putting in to practice our mission of enabling people to lead full and aspiring lives. We are now focusing on how we can achieve ‘outstanding’ ratings and all teams are fully involved and engaged with these discussions and plans.”
