Woodview, Caterham – Residential

A bedroom has become available in this large, specially-built bungalow with nine bedrooms in a prime location in Caterham.

Woodview is one of Active Prospects’ three specialist buildings designed to accommodate the needs of people with physical disabilities as well as learning disabilities. It offers a specialist service with accommodation for up to nine people, including those with profound learning disabilities. We also support people who have mental health needs (dual diagnosis), autistic spectrum conditions, dementia, and epilepsy.

In addition, end of life care is provided, and focuses on providing people with the support they need to live the life they want for as long as possible; and working with other professionals to ensure they have all they require to die with dignity in a genuinely caring environment.

At Woodview we offer comfortable rooms, a recently refurbished kitchen with one work top for wheelchair users, spacious lounge and dining room, our own vehicle to enable people to easily access the wider community with support, as well as a courtyard and two well-maintained gardens. We are well situated close to the local shops and amenities of Caterham, and this service is ideally suited to someone in need of high levels of support.

All staff are trained in intensive interaction and person centered active support. Staff are on site 24 hours a day, including sleep-in and waking night.

A bedroom is now available. The room has just been refurbished and will be personalised with the new resident, either before or when, they move in.

Emergency respite is also available. Contact our Referrals Manager for more information or to arrange a free assessment on referrals@activeprospects.org.uk or call 01737 924237.
