Active Prospects is committed to working in co-production with the people who use our services, and their families and carers. We believe this is key to shaping our services and ensuring that the support being delivered is personalised and is what people would like us to provide.
We do this in a wide range of ways including committees run by the people we support and by holding parent and carer forums regularly throughout the year. As part of our core values of ‘Trusting’ and being transparent, we actively encourage everybody to get involved by attending these forums or by contacting the Head of Care with any suggestions, compliments or concerns. Our Pro-active Committee meets every other week and is leading the way in ensuring that people with learning disabilities have a voice not just within Active Prospects but also within Surrey and their local communities. This voice has been growing over the last couple of years and the Pro-active Committee is now expanding to become an organsiation in its own right.
